Key Strategy Concepts

Not Every Trade is a Home Run

• "Not the best setup" but took it with managed risk
• 30-40 pips profit, not the biggest R:R but consistent
• Important to record imperfect trades too — 88% win rate overall

Multi-Timeframe Analysis

• 1H: Overall structure bearish (sellers > buyers)
• 15M: Structure still bullish but broke key low — room to downside
• 5M: Entry timeframe for precise cluster reading
• 1M: Monitor price minute-by-minute for additional confirmation

Setup: Equal High + Maximum Level + Supply Zone

• Equal high matching maximum level on market profile
• Supply zone identified from technical analysis (consolidation area)
• Price range: 1929-1930 area at the top
• 60-70 contracts on ask side + negative delta

Smaller Imbalance Entry

• 11 contracts on the ask on the return test (not huge)
• Combined with technical rejection + liquidity grab into the level
• Total: ~22 contracts on the ask across the zone
• Still valid because: technical level + delta + pattern all align

Entry and Management

• Entry: After rejection candle on 1M timeframe
• SL: Above 1929-1930 level (15-20 pips)
• Took 30-40 pips profit
• Full move went 70-80 pips (1982 to 1920-21 area)
• Fine with partial — "take profits off the table, manage risk"

Key Lesson: Combine Technical + Institutional

• Technical: Supply zone, consolidation, structure break
• Institutional: Contracts on ask + delta shift + volume
• Even smaller numbers (11-22 contracts) valid when technical aligns
• Shift to 1M to monitor and see more ask-side activity minute by minute

R:R Flexibility

• Some days you get 1:4, 1:5, 1:6
• Some days 1:2, 1:3 is fine
• Market changes — be happy with what it gives you
• Take profits, manage risk — most important lesson
