The footprint ladder
A candle tells you where price closed. The ladder tells you who paid to get it there — every contract hit into the bid against every contract lifted off the ask, at each price inside the bar.
The zero is the whole point. At the low of the bar, sellers hit 214 and buyers took none. Nobody is left on that side. That is finished business — pillar 5 — and it is the read the desk is waiting for.

What The Desk Draws
The Footprint Ladder
Bid against ask at every single price in the bar. This is the read — who actually hit the button, not what the candle looks like.
Finished Business
The print with zero on the opposing side at the bar's extreme. Nobody left to fight. That is pillar 5, and it is circled.
The Delta Shift
The exact bar where flow flipped direction, with the strength building bar by bar behind it.
The H1/H4 Zone
The fresh supply or demand zone the read is anchored on, marked with which touch this is. After touch three the zone is dead.
The Session Window
London 7–10 UTC and New York 12–15 UTC shaded in. The desk does not read outside them.
The Pillar Tally
How many of the 12 passed, with delta, structure and level flagged. Under 10 of 12 nothing is sent.
